Work that belongs to no file of mine. It exists because somebody had to do it and nobody was going to be paid for it.
- Doctrine
The Belonging Test
One question, put to any rule: does it refuse a person for what they are counted as, rather than for anything they did? Written as a test that can be applied, not as a manifesto. Cases are entered in a register with their filing dates, so the doctrine is measured by what it has been used to do. The text and its checksum are published here when the register opens.
- Ottawa 2026
The candidate register
Every certified candidate in the Ottawa municipal election, asked the same six questions on the same day on identical terms. Answers published in full and unedited; candidates who do not answer appear as not having answered. No organization stands behind it.
- Findings
Defects published for anyone to use
A defect found in a statute is worth nothing while it sits in one person’s file. Each finding is published with its full quotations and sources so that anyone in the same position can lift it whole.
